**On October 28, 2020, Jennifer will be reading her poem "Deciding to Attend the Wake" from the most recent issue of The Healing Muse, as part of their 20th Anniversary Book Launch via Zoom. Message Jennifer if you would like to attend the Zoom reading featuring writers included in the journal along with presentations by Healing Muse editors.

***In December 2018, Jennifer was awarded a Gifts of Legacy Fellowship from A Room of Her Own (AROHO). She participated in a Master Class with AROHO founder Darlene Chandler Bassett called "Artistic Ancestors & Creative Memory." Jennifer also has two poems forthcoming in AROHO's Waves anthology.

BIO:
Jennifer Campbell is an English Professor at SUNY Erie and a co-editor of Earth's Daughters Feminist Literary Journal. As a professor at Erie Community College, Jennifer received the 2010 Chancellor's Award for Scholarship and Creative Activities, along with a 2009 President's Award for Outstanding Professional Growth. Jennifer's work has been featured in a number of literary journals including Paterson Review, HeirlockLittle Patuxent ReviewAdanna, Comstock ReviewPennsylvania English, The Healing Muse, Santa Fe Literary Review, Pinyon, Verse-Virtual, Medical Journal of Australia, Mom Egg Review, The PromptSeems, Off the Coast, Oyez Review, Red Rock Review, Common Ground Review, Sow’s Ear, Saranac Review, Fugue, Slipstream, Slant, and CHEST. She was a finalist in the 2017 Fairy Tale Review Poetry Contest. Her poem “Nothing Under the Bed” received a 2012 Best of the Net nomination from Earthshine and she received an Honorable Mention in the 2010 New Millennium Writings competition.

Jennifer was selected to be a part of The Sixty Four Best Poets of 2019, and she has work forthcoming in 5x5. She is currently searching for a home for her manuscript What Came First, which is a collection of reconstituted fairy tales for the #metoo era.

Jennifer's first full-length book of poetry, titled Driving Straight Through, was published by FootHills in 2008. She also has a chapbook called The Many Colors of Sound. Campbell's second book of poetry, Supposed to Love, was published in February 2013 by Saddle Road Press. Check out the Readings page for upcoming readings and book signings.
